Sometimes fiberglass geogrids are also coated with self-adhesive glue to ensures quick installation.
As it is known to all, fiberglass geogrids offer excellent heat resistance, minimal shrinkage at high temperatures, high chemical and physical durability, along with optimal elastic modulus and aperture size. They are biologically unaffected by soil micro-organisms, are inert to all chemicals normally found in the soil, and are formulated to resist ultraviolet degradation.
APPLICATIONS:
• As joint bridge and reinforcement of asphalt layer and concrete road to prevent contraction crack caused by base layer.
• Prevent or delay reflection cracks of the highways, airport runways, taxiways, roadways, bridge floors, etc.
• Reduce the rutting for pavement subject to heavy traffic.
• Control cracks caused by uneven sedimentation between new and old road surfaces in road expansion and improvement projects
• Distribute stress uniformly and improves overall strength of road base in soft soil base reinforcement treatment,restrains sedimentation effectively, prevent road surface crack caused by foundation crack reflection.
